A milestone is a practical target
Ordinary Degrees improve eligible stats gradually, while general Boss stages advance every 20 Degrees. Cards compare Degrees 20, 40, 60, 80 and 100 against your current effective Power. This helps choose a stopping point rather than reversing just one target into a threshold.
Official v39 notes establish a 25-percentage-point stage increase: factors 1.25, 1.50, 1.75, 2.00 and 2.25. Specific attack bonuses, Elite behavior and abilities need additional data; these are not complete DPS multipliers.
An example near 80
At 120,000 effective Power, Degree 80 needs 115 more. Once you reach its 120,115 threshold, the next stage is 100, with a much larger 79,885-Power gap. A zero gap on a milestone card means reached, not that the milestone has no requirement.
The searchable full table is available for intermediate Degrees. Use the complete resource planner to translate a gap into legal additions after category caps and player limits.
Do not decide from stages alone
A Boss plan also depends on farming, placement, timing and restrictions. Saving money for another Paragon can be preferable to forcing Degree 100. This tool supplies arithmetic; the contextual tier list explains strategic roles without pretending subjective letters are measured damage.
