What is Ascended Shadow?

A global-pressure and control choice, with the damage plan influenced by how its attacks meet targets.

Global effects do not exempt Ninja from resource caps. Record damage earned by the merging Ninja family, rather than the whole defense. A high Degree may suit a long run, while a lower milestone can leave money for other coverage; this is a budget choice, not a measured universal ranking.

How to build it

Unlock with 500,000 Ninja Monkey XP, then build Grandmaster Ninja, Grand Saboteur and Master Bomber. Released in v28.0; class: Magic. XP is not Degree Power. All three required T5 paths must be present in a run that permits this Paragon.

Upgrade price and setup budget

Easy: $425,000
Medium: $500,000
Hard: $540,000
Impoppable: $600,000

These are standard upgrade-only prices. Required T5 routes, eligible extra sacrifices and slider investment are separate. Use actual paid cost for tower discounts and reserve the upgrade before entering available slider cash.

Evidence: corroborated. Community-reference values; no independent game session was run. Difficulty values are standard undiscounted upgrade prices.

Price / XP reference

Worked Ninja Monkey resource plan

Using the listed Medium upgrade price, 18,000,000 damage and $500,000 eligible non-T5 paid cash, with no extras or Totems, produce 120,000 Power and Degree 79. Target Degree 80 requires 120,115 Power, leaving 115.

This is a reproducible arithmetic example, not a claim that a particular tower path costs that cash amount. Enter your own actual paid costs and counters in the calculator above. The example inherits any disputed price listed for this character.

Common planning mistake

Including pops from support Alchemists or other families in the Ninja damage total.

v57 ordinary tiers add zero Power. Eligible cash and damage still matter, while generated income must meet the game’s eligibility rules. The shared category caps apply before the final 200,000 limit. Exact integer boundary behavior remains an estimate pending in-game validation.
