BTD6 Paragon v39.0 Update

The v39.0 Paragon update changed high-degree planning by adding direct cash injection and making cash contribution scale with the selected Paragon price.

Cash Became Price-Based

Under current v39.0+ rules, placed sacrificed tower cash contributes 1 power per paragonPrice / 20,000 spent. This means a more expensive Paragon requires more cash to gain the same amount of cash power.

Manual cash slider investment contributes 1 power per paragonPrice x 1.05 / 20,000 spent. The 1.05 multiplier represents the 5% markup compared with placed sacrificial tower cash.

Shared Cash Cap

Placed tower cash and manual cash slider investment are not separate caps. They combine into one cash category capped at 60,000 power.

If placed sacrifices already reach the 60,000 cash cap, adding slider cash will not increase Degree. If slider cash already reaches the cap, adding more placed cash for power has the same problem.

Legacy Mode Guidance

Pre-v39.0 planning should be labeled as an estimate. The cash slider did not exist before v39.0, so it should not be used in legacy calculations.

For current runs, use v39.0+ mode unless you are deliberately comparing against older mechanics.
