What is Herald of Everfrost?

An Ice option where control, amplification and team timing matter alongside direct damage.

Control interactions depend on target rules and patch behavior. Match the support role to compatible damage towers rather than ranking only by generic Degree. Official v57.2 notes discuss a Sniper/Ice Boss-skull interaction fix; that combat fix does not create another Degree input.

How to build it

Unlock with 750,000 Ice Monkey XP, then build Super Brittle, Absolute Zero and Icicle Impale. Released in v52.0; class: Primary. XP is not Degree Power. All three required T5 paths must be present in a run that permits this Paragon.

Common planning mistake

Promising permanent control or universal Boss behavior from a Degree threshold alone.

v57 ordinary tiers add zero Power. Eligible cash and damage still matter, while generated income must meet the game’s eligibility rules. The shared category caps apply before the final 200,000 limit. Exact integer boundary behavior remains an estimate pending in-game validation.
